Minister: Peter Boehlke
Peter began his ministry of Church of the Good Shepherd in 1999. Peter attended a Baptist college and a Presbyterian seminary. Peter comes from a family of ministers and one atheist. His style is eclectic and welcoming.

Interim Music Director: Matthew Mehaffey
Matthew Mehaffey is Assistant Professor of Music and the Associate Director of Choral Activities at the University of Minnesota where he conducts the Concert Choir and the Men’s Chorus and teaches graduate courses in Choral Conducting and Literature. A native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, he holds degrees from Bucknell University (BM in Music Education), Westminster Choir College (MM in Choral Conducting) and the University of Arizona (DMA in Choral Conducting and Historical Musicology). Prior to his appointment at the University of Minnesota, Mehaffey served as Director of Choral Activities at The George Washington University in Washington, DC. He lives with his wife and daughter in downtown Minneapolis, MN.
Organist: Richard Waggoner
Richard has been Organist at Church of the Good Shepherd since 1998. Before retirement in 1995, he served for thirty years as Minister of Music (Organist/Choirmaster) at Hennepin Avenue United Methodist Church in Minneapolis, coming to that position from a similar one in New Orleans. At Hennepin Avenue, he supervised the planning and building of the 78 rank pipe organ, and was the founder of the distinguished Music at Hennepin series. Richard holds degrees in piano and organ from Morningside College and the University of Colorado, and earned the Doctorate in Musical Arts from the University of Minnesota. In addition to his musical training, Dr. Waggoner took the required theological studies and is an ordained Elder in the United Methodist Church. He holds the degree Associate (AAGO) in the American Guild of Organists and has served as Dean of both the Twin Cities and the New Orleans Chapters. Richard and his wife, Phyllis, reside in their home in Golden Valley.
Director of Christian Education: Dana Neuhauser
Dana Neuhauser has been Director of Education at Church of the Good Shepherd since February 2005. She began her work in the church as a volunteer and heeded God's call to ministry in Christian Education. Dana is passionate about ministry with children, youth and their families, and believes that faith is primarily caught at home, rather than taught at church. She believes that families are the main nurturers of faith and congregations are vital partners in providing support to families and individuals. Dana graduated from Macalester College in 1995 with a major in Japan Studies and a minor in Religious Studies. In 1999 she completed her Master of Arts in Higher Education Administration from the University of Michigan. Dana and her husband, Brad, have two children, Lizzie and Joshua. In her spare time, she enjoys knitting, scrapbooking, cardmaking, reading, knitting, knitting, knitting and knitting.
