Ways to get involved at Church of the Good Shepherd:
| Adult Education |
We offer opportunities for adults to learn about and deepen their faith. See the Adult Education page for specifics. |

Sunday School, nursery, and other childcare. See Children's Education page for specifics. |
| Centering prayer |
Join others for 20 minutes of contemplative silence. Tuesdays at 8:30 a.m. and Thursdays at 6 p.m. We also have occasional Centering Prayer workshops. See the Minnesota Contemplative Outreach website for other centering prayer sits in the area, or the larger Contemplative Outreach organization for more general information. |
| Choir |
Rehearsals are Thursdays 7:15-8:45 p.m. and Sundays 9:40-10:15 a.m. All are welcome, regardless of experience or training. Contact our Music Director, Matthew Mehaffey, for more information. |
| Coffee hour | Coffee hour is open to everyone following the worship service (approximately 11:30 a.m.). Volunteer to bring treats, prepare coffee and lemonade, and help the children play. Sign up in the Narthex or contact our Nominations committee for more information. |
| Committees | Our committees undertake governance of the church in areas such as facilities, finance, staffing, and education. See the Committees page for more details. |
| Crafters |
Get together to knit or do other crafts. See the calendar for times. |
| Family fun night |
An opportunity (every month or two) for fellowship for parents, kids, and anyone else! See calendar for dates and times. |
| Special music |
Our community is blessed with people who share a wide variety of musical gifts. Add yours, too. Contact our Music Director, Matthew Mehaffey. |
| Works of Mercy |
A quarterly giving program. Nominate a worthy organization to receive support from CGS. |
| Worship |
Help to lead worship by reading scripture, helping with the cross and flame, serving communion or writing a prayer. Contact our Worship committee. |
